Epist — Terms of Use
Last updated: April 1, 2026
Acceptance
By using Epist, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
The app
Epist is an e-book reader and library manager. We provide it as-is and make no guarantees about uninterrupted availability or the absence of bugs — though we do our best.
Your content
Books you import into Epist are yours. We don’t access, store, or transmit your files. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use the content you import.
Subscriptions
Some features (such as cloud sync) are available through paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.
Limitations
Epist is not liable for any loss of data, including books or reading progress, resulting from device failure, app updates, or other causes. We recommend keeping backups of your book files.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
